Opening 2026:
Pet Pulse After-Hours ER

Bringing additional support to local pets and their dedicated veterinarians.

Our Mission

VetERINARY PULSE ALLIANCE

VPA is a nonprofit organization formed to ensure the communities
in and around Jackson Hole, Wyoming have access to emergency veterinary care
while investing in the people who make that care possible.

Our Vision
• Offer after-hours urgent care services

• Empower veterinary professionals through education and training

• Support local clinics with staffing and retention challenges

VPA has two pillars to bring this mission to life:

Pet Pulse
After-Hours ER

VPA plans to provide after-hour emergency care are with a new facility located in the Target Plaza in Jackson, Wyoming, when other clinics are closed to support pet owners from having to travel 85 miles to Idaho Falls for emergency care. Between Pet Pulse and the day practices, we will finally bridge the gap of being able to have 24 hour pet care in our communities!

Vet Pulse
PROFESSIONAL Support

VPA is dedicated to alleviating the heavy burden on veterinary professionals. We recognize that demanding schedules, stress, and limited resources contribute to burnout, turnover, and the risk of mental health struggles, sometimes tragically leading to suicide. Our commitment involves supporting well-being and building a more sustainable career path.

How you can help.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make emergency services available and strengthens veterinary care throughout our communities. Your generosity creates a safety net for pets and their families when they need it most.

"Providing after-hours veterinary care in this valley has been a challenge for decades. We've asked veterinarians to work long days, then get called in during the middle of the night for emergencies -only to return to work again the next morning. It's exhausting, unsustainable, and it's one of the key reasons it's so hard to hire and retain qualified staff.

With a nationwide shortage of veterinarians and technicians, professionals are choosing jobs where they're not expected to be on call 24/7-because in most places, emergency clinics already exist.

An after-hours clinic right here in Jackson will make a world of difference. It means we can care for our patients with the attention and energy they deserve-and it means our local veterinary teams can finally work in an environment that respects their wellbeing, too."
