Dr. MJ Forman

WVO Board Treasurer

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist)

MJ moved to Jackson Hole with her family in 1970.  She graduated from Jackson-Wilson High School and attended Colorado State University for her undergraduate degree. CSU Veterinary School followed, where MJ became a DVM in 1985. MJ ventured to the east coast for an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a specialty hospital in Connecticut.  Three additional years were spent at Tufts University Veterinary Teaching Hospital training as a small animal internal medicine resident.  It is here that MJ met the love of her life, Dr. Daniel Forman. Dan & MJ returned to Jackson Hole and were married in 1991.  Spring Creek Animal Hospital was born in 1992.  That same year, MJ became the first board certified veterinary small animal internal medicine specialist in a three state area. MJ partially retired in 2022, but continues to provide the community with internal medicine consultations and diagnostic ultrasound through VCA Spring Creek Animal Hospital.

MJ enjoys reading, learning to cook, meditation, and loves any type of outdoor exercise, but her favorite activities include skiing, cycling and hiking. She and Dan have two adult sons, Josh and Matt. They also feel so fortunate to belong to Cruz, the most wonderful Labrador Retriever rescue!
