Celebrate Old Bill’s Giving Season!
Dear Veterinary Pulse Alliance Supporters,
2026 celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Old Bill’s Fun Run, which has been the hallmark philanthropic event in the Jackson Hole Community since 1997. Old Bill’s has inspired thousands, raising over $306 million for participating non-profit organizations since its inception. Veterinary Pulse Alliance is thrilled to announce that this is our first year participating in Old Bill’s, and we are honored to be a part of this cornerstone community philanthropic season.
Veterinary Pulse Alliance is the non-profit organization that is responsible for building Pet Pulse After-Hours ER (Pet Pulse), a first-of-its-kind after-hours veterinary care facility in Jackson. There is currently no community after-hours care facility in Jackson, and when other clinics are closed to support pet owners from having to travel 85 miles to Idaho Falls for emergency Care, Pet Pulse will finally bridge the gap of being able to have 24-hour pet care in Jackson. Located in the Target Plaza, Pet Pulse is currently under construction and we are asking for your support to get us to opening. Veterinary Pulse Alliance is a 100% community funded organization, and with your help, we can open our doors in late 2026!
Veterinary Pulse Alliance is dedicated to bringing Jackson the first after-hours emergency care veterinary facility in the valley, and with your help, we can open our doors as soon as possible to give our pets the care they deserve. Pet emergencies do not adhere to a schedule, and we look forward to being there for you and your pet when you need us most.

What will Pet Pulse ER offer?
Hospitalization
If your pet requires 24 hour care and observation, we’ll provide the same high-quality care they’d receive at your regular veterinary clinic during the day. This includes IV fluids, supportive treatments, and close monitoring to make sure they’re stable and comfortable through the night. Your pet will be discharged to return home with you or back to your veterinarian in the morning.
Urgent Care Visits
We’re here for those unexpected moments—when something just can’t wait. Examples include:

Possible toxin exposure

Cuts or wounds that may need stitches

Any issue you believe needs attention before your vet is available the next day
Emergency Services
We will be equipped to handle serious, time-sensitive situations, such as:

Trauma (e.g., hit by a car, animal fights)

Trouble breathing
-
Seizures
-
Severe or ongoing vomiting or dry heaving
-
Sudden swelling or bloating in the belly
-
Difficulty urinating (especially in male cats and dogs)

Any urgent concern that you believe needs immediate medical care
We’ll also triage and stabilize patients who can safely wait to be seen by their regular vet when their clinic reopens.
